Discover who you are in connection with the world around you
Nest of Kin is a breeding ground for important relationships, with people, animals and nature.
At Nest of Kin, we discover together what is truly important to you and how you can use your creativity, resourcefulness, reflection, and resilience for personal, social, and relational change.
A world full of wonder, growth and adventure .
At Nest of Kin, you can find peace and tranquility; be completely yourself; explore your identity in relation to the world; discover new perspectives; and learn how to use your personality and creativity to create change.
After landing at Nest of Kin, you'll fly out recharged, inspired, and full of ideas. Ready for new adventures that will make a positive impact on you and the world.
Three themes come together in my work
Creativity - As a form of expression and research
Nature - As a non-judgmental collaborative partner and source of inspiration
Identity - As a basis for personal growth in relation to the world
At this unique intersection, I guide people and organizations in their search for authenticity and connection;
I develop creative concepts and performances that spark curiosity. This is how I explore the world.
My approach focuses on personal, social, and relational change. Rooted in the connection between humans, other animals,
and nature. Based on equality; from the conviction that everyone and everything plays a unique role in life.

As a researcher I work in the fields of applied theatre, animal studies and ecopsychology.
I focus on increasing a relational ecological identity: the awareness that all life on earth is interconnected.

I believe that creativity, ingenuity, reflection, and resilience are our most important building blocks for achieving this. With curiosity and enthusiasm, warmth, and a touch of humor, I guide you in exploring your own identity, creativity, and your impact on the world.
I'm a Very Hungry Caterpillar (or rather, Ruthie); I love to learn and live. I love going on adventures with other Very Hungry Caterpillars, who dare to look at themselves and, like me, want to make the world a little more beautiful.
My name is Ruth Slob. I'm a theatre maker, arts educator, life coach, non-profit consultant, and researcher. With sensitivity and decisiveness, I offer Nest of Kin a warm, safe space from which we can peer beyond the edge into the outside world. I want everyone to be able to be themselves fully and simultaneously feel connected to others: people, animals, and nature.
